In late 2005, DHL Exel Supply Chain realised that they needed to get better value from senior management recruitment consultancies. As with many sectorised organisations, there was little centralised control over usage, no standardisation of fees or operational practice and little promotion of successful suppliers across the diverse business sectors. Recruitment Doctor were asked to contribute to the solution by:
- drawing up contractual documents based on existing purchasing frameworks
- designing an operational Service Level Agreement aimed at meeting needs of internal stakeholders
- negotiating fee structures and handling queries from all potential suppliers
